When do you need hybrid control?
- Hybridising an existing plant: a PV, gas-engine or diesel site is extended with storage and the two systems must be controlled together (for example Domaszék).
- Grid-connection limit: the storage absorbs surplus production and the controller holds the permitted power at the connection point.
- Island operation or a weak grid: the genset starts only when the state of charge and the production are not sufficient – minimum run-time, less fuel.
- Several generating units in parallel: load sharing and synchronisation of genset groups, PV inverters and PCS units, black start.
How our hybrid control is built
All of this is also available pre-assembled and factory-tested: the BST Control Box is the ComAp InteliNeo-based EMS controller in a cabinet, at a fixed price. BST Control Box details →
Equipment we work with
ComAp InteliNeo and InteliGen controllers, InteliMains grid controller, InteliGateway communication; Sinexcel, Kehua and Delta PCS; CATL, EVE and Sunnic battery storage.
